Things moved a bit too fast in July and I didn't take the time to reflect on my talk on "Ways to travel the world without paying for accomodation" at @banskonomadfest . I was so happy to see over 130 people signed up, a few came to talk to me after the session and in the following days I heard from multiple people I knew or I had no idea who they were, buy they stopped me on the streets of Bansko to tell me my presentation was useful for them. One of the biggest pleasures for me is being able to help people , and I feel blessed doing that by sharing what I learned throughout years of life and travel experience.

When I talk about Ikigai many people think I am referring to "finding that soft spot that combines what you love, what you can make money from, what the world needs and what you are good at". In fact that refers to a very specific case, when people want to make their life purpose their profession. When I talk about Ikigai, I refer to anything that brings us meaning and reasons to wake up in the morning, anything that puts us in flow state, not thinking about time or anything else. This island ( Gozo) where I have made one of my homebases has so many sources of Ikigai to me, from roaming its historycal streets to listening to the sound of its nature. And finding what brings us to flow state puts us in a position where we are more open to receive inspiration and figure out our bigger purpose too.

February was a month of introspection and experiencing the beauty of going with the flow. It was a month of embracing a more peaceful rythm, appreciating differences and savoring each moment. After living so many years mostly chasing summers, it was time to embrace the winter, learn to appreciate its beauty and learn the lessons it wanted to teach me with an open heart. But the snow starts melting as the spring approaches. And despite of my newfound appreciation for the cold, the sun inside of me craves colors, passion, movement.
